My Lord! Just when I was wondering if BK had lost his edge, he has 
come back with this latest EP and my faith in not only him but hard 
dance as a whole is restored. Ever the king of pushing the boundaries 
this is an electro-meets-techno-meets hard dance extravaganza that is 
quite simply cool as f**k. Twisting at every turn, yet with the BK 
stamp of authority remaining throughout, this is a gloriously 
exciting track that will blow the crowd away every time. Quite 
frankly, this is the sort of quality, forward-thinking output that 
made him the king of hard dance in the first place. Simply superb and 
essential.

BK EP3 Riot Recordings

EP number 3 for Ben who’s still the main man

It was a tough call this month but a new BK EP on Riot is always going to be near the top of my pile. And who can blame us? Not only does BK sell records, he’s been in this game for so long that he knows what Joe Public wants without compromising his own integrity. This brilliant record offers a perfect two-sided taster of just where Ben’s head and sound is at right now. Tight, techy and crossing all the borders, lead track ‘Systematic’ has a touch of tech trance about it whilst ‘Music Nation’ sees Ben and Andy Farley resurrect an old studio partnership for a grubbier groove that’s not quite as hard as you might expect.
